As I reflect to 1995 and "Ista" there is a great feeling of success and pride. There is also a great sadness in me: on my losses and our losses. We must have felt that we faced all the adversities possible then we can ever face. It is a great feeling knowing that we are still here standing to our commitments.
I extend my most deep appreciation for all your prayers and support to the Nuxalk.
Our spirits are strengthened since we have completed out protocol with the Forest Action Network. We are very excited to begin 1996 with our Nuxalk campaign to protect our land. Especially, to see old faces and meet new people.
It is very encouraging to see and feel the support for "Ista" from all corners of the world. We ask for you to continue this support.
